E Dubai – is by Mr. Prospector. His dam sire is Lord at War (ARG) and his dam’s dam is Verbatim. E Dubai only had eleven starts but he won races at two, three, and four. He won the Dweyer at age three and the Suburban at age four. All his big wins were in routes up to a mile and a quarter. I believe he is a dual hemisphere stallion standing in Kentucky and Australia.

E Dubai’s pedigree also screams for some Northern Dancer influence. He was a route horse but could produce either sprinters or route horses. Danzig and Storm Cat dam sires might be more likely to produce a sprinter/miler type where as Sadler’s Wells or Nijinsky could get you a horse that can get a mile and a quarter easy. Breeding back to Raise a Native line sires like Alydar or Affirmed could also be a good cross. Seattle Slew and sons usually cross well with just about any body. E Dubai has a pretty versatile pedigree that you can go many ways with. Damascus, Turn-To, In Reality, Ribot. There is a good chance he can produce as well on turf as dirt.

E Dubai has five stakes winners from ninety-nine sim progeny. Curiously all five are fillies. Storm Cat is the dam sire for two of the five and a son of Storm Cat (Tabasco Cat) is the dam sire of another. The other two dam sires are Sadler’s Wells and Meadowlake so four of the five stakes winners come from Northern Dancer lines. Three of the stakes winners did it on dirt the other two on turf. Over all his first class look very good and prefer to run routes.

E Dubai has twenty-eight two year olds already this year. Two runners have already broken the eighty-speed figure mark, another Storm Cat and a Mr. Prospector.  There are two other progeny where Storm Cat is the dam sire and they have looked good to this point. Check out some of the dam sires simmers have used. Sadler’s Wells, Lemon Drop Kid, Seeking The Gold, Northern Dancer, Lyphard, Broad Brush and Rahy. His two year olds have been really well bred so he should continue to excel as a sim sire.
