Welcome to the Breeding Corner Archives Sires Pages

The Breeding Corner was started to help highlight some of the lesser known, forgotten or little used sires contained within the Simulated Sports Virtual Horse Racing game, commonly referred to as the sim. Many of these sires are very capable of producing stakes winners and in most cases can be had pretty inexpensively.

Here are all the individual sires covered in the Breeding Corner articles for both the old Sim Racing Form the current Black Type Bugler. This list of sires contains all the sires covered from the beginning of the Breeding Corner in 2004 through 2005.

The sires are broken down into segments as we take a look at different aspects.

Real Life - Here we get a look at the sire's pedigree, take a look at how the sire performed as a race horse, look at real life production and possible crosses that have worked

Sim Life - We take a look at the sires sim production. How many runners, stakes winners and what crosses (if any) that worked in the sim. Maybe mention a couple of top runners or retired runners.

Breeding - Here recommendations are given as to what sire lines and sires might cross well with sire.

Bargain Bred - Many of the sires covered make good candidates to use in bargain breedings. Here sire recommendations of the bargain variety are suggested. This is a good place for newer players to get their breeding feet wet.

What to Expect - This section discusses things like the surface preference, distance preference, and growth development you might expect from the sires off spring.
